U12 - U14 Junior club tryouts will begin throughout the region on Saturday, October 28, 2023.

TOURNAMENT INFORMATION FINAL

*Doors open 1 hour before start for player and coach set-up; 30 minutes before start for spectators.

*We will typically post a playing schedule by the Friday before the tournament. We will also email it to the coaches.

*Last Week of practice is October 23-27

Our Fall Academy is an outstanding opportunity for players who are not currently playing for their school teams to get an introduction to Club Volleyball as part of a competitive volleyball team. 

Although other clubs are now beginning to offer fall training programs, what sets our Academy apart is COMPETITION.  Similar to club volleyball, players are put onto teams and trained as a team; in addition, we also have scrimmages and tournaments as part of the Academy. Players improve through team training (and learn the basics of team play) but they also get the opportunity to compete! This is the best way to prepare for club tryouts and to get a TOTAL fall training experience. 

In addition to our regular Fall Academy program, this year a NEW "Fall Academy-Select" was added for U13 & U14 athletes. Players must have played indoor club this season.   Specific days and times are set aside for these intermediate to advanced athletes to register for our Select Fall Academy teams. 

ALL Players in the 5th through 8th grades who participate in our Fall Academy will receive individual skill instruction, develop their skills, and participate in organized competition. The Academy begins in September and extends through the end of October — it concludes right before club volleyball tryouts.  This is a great preview to our NW Juniors VBC Program which begins with U12-U14 tryouts the end of October, and runs December through May or June.  At the conclusion of the Fall Academy season, players have the option of trying out for one of our NW Juniors Volleyball Club teams or waiting until we begin short-season training again in the Spring. The primary intent of this program is to prepare for an expanded club program.

Through NW Juniors Elite VBC, Northwest Juniors Fall Academy, and Beach Club programs, the NW Volleyball Foundation is proud to serve over 600 athletes each season! Please see our PROGRAMS  page  for more detailed information on our club program!

Players should be going into 5th through 8th grades in the Fall*.

During Registration, you select your player's practice schedule.  

Players are placed on teams based on the player information you provide at the time of registration; so please fill out registration forms accurately and completely. We make every effort to keep athletes from the same school on the same team. But we also want to make sure players are at the proper level so they develop at the pace that is right for their level of play.  

*Note: we occasionally also accept 9th graders that are not playing HS volleyball or do not make their high school team. They will be accepted first come first served on our 8th grade teams. If a player is entering 9th grade and wants to be considered for either of our Fall programs, they must e-mail info@nwvolleyball.com first for approval before registering. 

If there is an opening, and your 9th grader is accepted, an e-mail invitation to register will be sent.  This occurs close to the Fall Academy start date around Labor Day weekend or shortly there after.  Keep an eye on your in-box.

The following uniform package is included in the Program Fees:

• 1 NW Juniors VBC practice tee-shirt
• 1 numbered, colored team jersey

.All apparel will run in Adult Sizes XL, L, M, S and Youth Sizes: XL

Uniforms are ordered after teams are finalized and distributed at the end of September.

Cost to participate in Fall Academy is $595.00*and is due when registering. 

Registrations are not accepted unless payment is received.

*Does NOT Include the cost of AAU membership -- $20
AAU Membership must be valid from Sept 1st, 2023 - August 31st. 2024.
*Cancellation/Refund Policy:  Non-refundable.  

*Fall Academy registration does NOT Include the cost of AAU membership -- Athletes must purchase a $20 "Regular Membership" AAU REGISTRATION OPENS AUGUST 15, 2023.  Be sure to purchase the correct year for AAU Membership (Valid for September 1, 2023- August 31, 2024).

Please note, if you do not enter NW Juniors VBC OR our club code when registering, your membership cannot be seen in our club AAU Database. 

If you registered for AAU and did not add our club name or club code when registering, please login and add the club so that we are able to see your individual membership within our club administration. 

PROOF of AAU Membership should be e-mailed to billing@nwvolleyball.com ON or BEFORE August 20th, 2023**We appreciate your efforts to help us meet our inhouse deadline for AAU Membership .

Our club uses various memberships to be able to provide insurance coverage for participants in our programming. 

Please note that if your child plans to tryout for junior volleyball club, a USA Volleyball membership will be required. Once the Puget Sound Region makes tryout memberships available (usually mid to late October), we will send out a notice to all Fall Academy participants. A USA Volleyball Tryout membership is typically $20 and only covers the athlete for the tryout window, if the athlete is selected for a USA Volleyball Club team, they will be able to upgrade their "Tryout Membership" to a "Full Membership".

Practices are team based training 2 days per week for 8 weeks. The practice week is Monday-Sunday, and all teams will have at least one weeknight practice. Weekend practices, when scheduled are typically after 12:00 PM. For teams that practice on Mondays, their makeup practice for Labor Day will be on Saturday, September 9th.
